Firiel's First Crush (1) = 9Firiel's First Crush (1)A thick yawn split the silence of the mid-morning air, a young man lay sprawled across the back of his mount. The tyto twisted her head around to rasp her curiosity at him, and he tilted his head back to meet his golden eyes with her reds. "Maybe we should land, it's getting late." he suggested. "It's Daius's time now, we should make camp and sleep."
Firiel hissed her agreement and slid into a steady dive. Youji rolled so he could tuck his legs under her wings and grip her feathers, tail laying flat across her back. Curious about where they were, he peered around her neck to look at the ground. Hm? What the? "Hey Firiel, do you see that?" he asked, finding himself rewarded with a chirp and her attention swiveling to the ground. In the field below them, a living rainbow seemed to have taken form. The Harpia easily dwarfed Firiel several times over, and his plumage gleamed in a million hues in the sunlight.
Without so much as a warning chirp, Firiel dove. Blunted claws dug into the back

Val And The Rainbow.Valkyrie wiggled through the small gap between the two older Stryx, attempting to escape and explore. Above her Odin Shifted in his Sleep, Zurry didn’t move so she paused for a second for Oding to settle. The sun had come up and all the other Stryx were sleeping along with the riders. Val had not gotten used to sleeping during the day yet and still frequently wandered during the day. Val, being nearly a young hatchling, had no flight feathers as of yet and had just recently mastered the art of walking. She toddled around but rarely got far, so the group let her wander a bit while they slept knowing it wouldn’t take long to find her.
The group had made camp fairly close to a small town. There was a River to the left that flowed through a sparse forest. There was a storm moving away on the horizon. As Val watched what looked like a rainbow flew overhead. Curious, Val headed off towards where

Saturday, 13th of february 2016 It's quiet, feels like the whole word isn't making a sound. Suddenly the crack of the wood breaks the silence. A creature must have stepped on something. Yes. Now we can see it clearly. Forest animals run away from these silence breakers.
"Seriously, my claws are getting all muddy!"
Says Los Angeles, Male royal Harpia, keeping his colorful tail feathers high up in the air, so atleast them would be clean after the trip. His genotype chain is long enough for him to get proud of them. Not every Harpia haves so great rare genos.
"Come on, I don't see you so diva that you really are. Look at my feathers, they are all muddy too."
Grins his Bat Cave friend, Drift. Two years old royal tyto, smashing the mud all over LA.

A Hunt Interrupted = 12.5
A Hunt InterruptedThe rays of the noon day sun were just beginning to poke through the dissipating clouds of a recent storm with shafts of light shining down on the shadowy canyons and dusty sand of the deserts. Already those few rays of sunlight poking through the clouds were drying and warming the desert back to its normal temperature.
The rain’s presence was already affecting the normally parched earth as the fauna of the desert hurried to put out shoots of leaves and open the petals of the flowers. There would only be a short amount of time before the intense heat drove them back to semi dormancy until the next rain.
Another benefit was that the grazing community of the desert was out in force to eat as much of the tender green shoots as they could before the heat and dry desert winds sent them away.
The combination of good wind and inattentive prey made for perfect hunting conditions for the Herold of Storms.
The sparkly harpia looked almost lazy as he rode the rising currents of air, barely

Lackadaisy KS Complete! Record Breaking Funding
So, the Kickstarter is over. I'm exhausted after a month of blitzing the hell out of this short, screaming all over Twitter (and everywhere else I have an audience) about it.
But it paid off
