Respite

Commissioned piece for :iconFyreSyde: of their Italian character taking refuge under a Roman ruin in a rainstorm.
Getting a bit more abstract with the lighting here in order to achieve the desired effect. I like how the little dog transforms it from an almost abstract piece into an illustrative one. Suddenly there's a story there just by virtue of adding another view.
