So, the Kickstarter is over. I'm exhausted after a month of blitzing the hell out of this short, screaming all over Twitter (and everywhere else I have an audience) about it.
But it paid off

Over 330k earned with nearly 6k backers. We secured the "top funded short film" Kickstarter record, beating out the legendary "Hair Love" by 100k! (great short btw, go watch it).
We now have a year to complete a 15-18 minute project with these dollars secured. A lot of folks have contacted me asking about casting or becoming part of the crew, and rest assured I will announce who and what we're looking for when we're ready. I'm supposed to be taking the day off (we did a 24 hr stream for the last day of the fundraiser, utterly wiped) and I'm already mulling over plans and schedules and fleshing out what we already have.

I send rough sketches based on responses to your form. Your notes permit up to 4 passes. Beyond 4 passes, notes involving substantial edits (entire drawings redone, not just texture or color tweaks) cost an additional 100 USD each.
With reference sheet finished,
I’ll then make a large scale digital painting of your character at 350 dpi suitable for banners and large posters.

All images provided are granted with full merchandising rights. My own rights to the image extend only to self-promotion (IE, posting images on social media, streaming work of the media, publicly acknowledging my part in the creation of said media, or as part of a portfolio binder of my work). You may profit directly off the artwork following completion and full payment. For example, putting the work on (but not limited to) shirts, stickers and magnets, charms etc, are all allowed upon full payment and reception of work.
You will receive the source file with the work as well in order to alter or perform edits as you wish or to break apart features of the work for use in merchandising.
